Leadership Development

The Executive MBA - Global Supply Chain helps executives develop the vision, communication and leadership skills necessary to succeed in a global, multi-cultural environment.

All residency periods include curricula specifically geared toward global leadership, including courses in:

  • Business and Public Policy
  • Ethical Leaders and Responsible Business
  • Negotiation
  • Strategy (including a focus on both developed and developing markets)

Students explore ethical, sociological, environmental, political and regulatory issues, which vary significantly by industry, organization, culture, country and region. They also work with a faculty mentor to create a personalized leadership development program targeting the students individual strengths and weaknesses.

Peer-to-peer relationships contribute significantly to leadership development throughout the program. Students spend a year in near constant communication and collaboration with other senior supply chain leaders, exchanging ideas and best practices. Alumni often cite these relationships with their classmates as one of the most pivotal aspects of the program, and one that endures long after graduation.
