Updates and Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Alycia King joined UT’s Department of Accounting and Information Management as a lecturer in the summer of 2016. She received both her Bachelor of Science: Accounting (2006) and Masters of Accountancy: Taxation (2008) from the University of Tennessee and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Tennessee. After practicing as a tax accountant at Crowe Horwath, Alycia transitioned to private industry eventually gaining the position of Chief Financial Officer of a management company in West Knoxville where she was able to obtain extensive experience in both financial and managerial accounting. Alycia has taught Foundations of Accounting and currently teaches Cost Management and Federal Taxation. She is also the faculty co-advisor of AIM Accounting Alliance as well as the AIM Student Engagement Coordinator. Alycia volunteers her time as a member of the Knoxville Advisory Board for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley and for Junior Achievement.
